Please join us at our interactive breakfastdiscussion “Insolvency & arbitration – practical implications”on the second day of the “Solidarity Arbitration and Mediation Days” conference.

In the first half of 2023, over 2,500 companies in Poland declared insolvency, nearly matching the total for the entire previous year.As insolvency and restructuring are expected to gainincreased prominencealso globally, the intersection between insolvency and arbitration is again becoming a live subject. We will look atthe relationship between insolvency and arbitration at national and EU levels, including the implications of declaring bankruptcy on arbitration clauses and ongoing arbitration proceedings and whether current national and EU regulations can prevent a repetition of the Elektrim saga.

SK&S’ interactive breakfast discussion will bring together lawyers from various jurisdictions to discuss these topics.
