Vilnius Arbitration Day 2026: Arbitration That Works

Data publikacji: 17 sierpnia 2026

Vilnius Arbitration Day returns on 25 September 2026, bringing together the international arbitration community for a full day of practical discussion, expert insight, and forward-looking debate.

🎟️ Regular-price registration is available until 4 September 2026.

This year’s defining theme — ARBITRATION THAT WORKS — Efficiency. Expertise. Endgame. — focuses on what makes arbitration effective in practice: sound strategy, efficient procedure, strong decision-making, and an end result that delivers.

Vilnius Arbitration Day 2026 welcomes Professor Dr Maxi Scherer as the keynote speaker.

Professor Scherer has more than 20 years of experience in international arbitration across both civil and common law systems. She is admitted to the Paris Bar and as a solicitor in England and Wales and has acted as counsel, arbitrator, or legal expert in more than 140 commercial and investor-State arbitrations. She is President of the London Court of International Arbitration and a tenured Professor of Law at Queen Mary University of London.

The 2026 agenda will explore some of the most practical, difficult, and forward-looking questions in arbitration today:

  • Arbitration: Director’s Cut or Groundhog Day?
  • Arbitration for Business, Not for Sport
  • Thinking Ahead: Pitfalls in Preparing for Enforcement
  • Streamlined Arbitration: Smart Case Management or Procedural Risk?
  • White Knight or Dark Knight? How Far Can Counsel Go?
  • Arbitration 4.0: Virtual Service, Synthetic Evidence, Algorithmic Awards
  • AI in Arbitration: Assistant, Risk, or Silent Participant?
  • Public Interest and International Arbitration

The discussions will be led by an outstanding international lineup of speakers, including Loukas Mistelis, Cezary Wiśniewski, Alicja Zielińska-Eisen, Anna-Maria Tamminen, Anders Forss, Caroline Falconer, Niamh Leinwather, Anke Meier, Timur Bondaryev, Krzysztof Sajchta, Tuuli Timonen, Marina Hadjisoteriou, Wojciech Sadowski, Robert Javin-Fisher, Paula Hodges KC, Artem Doudko, Robin Oldenstam, Teemu Taxell, Miroslav Dubovský, Shai Sharvit, Roman Prekop, Nora Jox Fredstie, Luminita Popa, Piotr Golędzinowski, Ilija Mitrev Penushliski, Jennifer Younan, Mohamed Shelbaya, Mathias Steinø, Diora Ziyaeva, Markian Malskyy, Pontus Ewerlöf, Eveli Lume, Ben Steinbrück.
