Marcin Dziurda appointed as member of the Arbitration Council for the term 2023-2026

We are pleased to announce that by a resolution of the Presidium of the Polish Chamber of Commerce dated 13 March 2025. Prof. Marcin Dziurda has been appointed as a member of the Arbitration Council for the term 2023-2026.
He received the appointment from the President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce Marek Kłoczko.

🔹 Legal counsel, professor at the Chair of Civil Procedure at the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw.
🔹 Member of the Civil Law Codification Committee
🔹 Between 2006-2012 President of the State Treasury Solicitor’s Office
🔹 Winner of awards: Bona Lex (2006), ‘Golden Paragraph’ (2015), special award of the ‘Judicial Review’ and Wolters Kluwer (2019)

💬 Prof. Marcin Dziurda on arbitration:

‘I consider it very important to promote arbitration as an effective, professional method of dispute resolution. At the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Warsaw, I give a lecture on arbitration, which is very popular with students (about 80 people attend every year). Recruitment for the first edition of the postgraduate programme ‘Arbitration in practice’, organised by the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw under the patronage of, among others, the Arbitration Court at the Polish Chamber of Commerce, will soon begin. Among the lecturers, in addition to academics, there will be a large group of the most prominent arbitration practitioners.
