Finals
We are pleased to inform that the written stage of the Competition – Draft Common Frame of Reference Warsaw International Arbitration Moot is now completed.
We would like to convey our warmest congratulations to all teams that have decided to participate in our Moot. Written statements that were submitted are of the highest quality, professionalism and worth competent future lawyers with extensive knowledge. We hope that for all participants this undertaking amounted to valuable experience and that knowledge gained will be useful in future professional practice. Each written statement was marked by independent and impartial Arbitral Tribunal consisting of three members.
According to the Rules eight teams with the highest stores qualify to next part of the Competition. We are delighted to announce that the following eight teams qualified to the oral stage:

- UNIVERSITY OF PRISHTINA
- UNIVERSITY OF SILESIA IN KATOWICE
The final eight is welcomed to attend the oral rounds which will be held in Warsaw, Poland in November 2012 at the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce. We will start the event during the Welcome Reception which will take place on 7 November 2012. The oral stage where teams shall present their argumentation before the Arbitral Tribunal is planned for two days – 8 and 9 November. On 9 November the Moot will come to the end with a conference in the form of panel discussion during which the winners will be announced. The teams are very welcome to take part in the discussion and especially invited to report on their experiences of working with the DCFR.
We will be delighted to invite all interested lawyers, arbitrators, students to participate in the oral Finals of the competition and conference.
