Basic editorial principles

  1. Main text

Times New Roman, 12 pt; spacing 1.5; text aligned; chapter and subchapter titles in bold (Arabic numbering: 1, 1.1., 1.1.1. etc.).

  1. Footnotes

Footnotes are placed at the bottom of the page; in Polish-language text they should be placed before a comma or sentence-ending period, in English-language text after a sentence-ending period (According to xxx, abc1. / According to xxx, abc.1); font Times New Roman, 10 pt; spacing 1; source titles indicated in italics; footnote should end with a period.

Numerical, with zeros before day and month indication (e.g. 01.02.2020 in Polish text, 01.02.2020 in English text).

  1. References to legal acts

Ordinary font (e.g., Act of 05.02.2006 on abc…), with indication of the Journal of Laws in a footnote (D.U. of 2010, No. …, item …), or with the note “with amendments”. (if a unified text has been published).
