The Berlin Dispute Resolution Days – 2024
The Berlin Dispute Resolution Days will take place in Berlin next week. On September 9, Monika Hartung, President of the Arbitral Council, and Karl Pörnbacher, Member of the Arbitral Council, will have the honor of moderating a Polish-German panel on “Judicial Independence in Times of Political Uncertainty: The Polish and German Perspective.”
Esteemed guests, including Polish judges Olimpia Baranska-Maluszek and Marta Kożuchowska-Warywoda, German judge Thomas Guddat, and legal advisor to the Vice-Chair of the SPD Parliamentary Group, Ahmed Aksu, will share their insights. They will discuss the independence of the judiciary and the guarantees it provides to citizens.
The event will be held at the Gleis Lutz Berlin Office, Washingtonplatz 3, 10557 Berlin, on 9th September from 3 pm – 5 pm.
