Special guest: Professor Julian Lew – founder and director of the School of International Arbitration, Centre for Commercial Law Studies, Queen Mary, University of London.
The professor read a paper on “A Practical Review of Contemporary Problems in International Arbitration”. The lecture was divided into three thematic panels focusing on the following issues: (1) Independence and impartiality of arbitrators; (2) International arbitration procedure; (3) Determination and proof of applicable law.
