Przemysław Drapała

Partner at JDP Drapała & Partners, head of the Litigation and Arbitration Practice (2008 – today). Prof. Drapała has extensive experience as an arbitrator and party counsel in domestic and international arbitration proceedings (conducted on the basis of the rules of Court of Arbitration the Polish Chamber of Commerce, Lewiatan Court of Arbitration, ICC, and DIS); chair of the Department of Civil Law at Kozminski University in Warsaw since 2012, Habilitation in civil law – 2011, PhD in civil law – 2001, Member of the Management Board of the Court of Arbitration at the Polish-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chair of the Expert Team on Law and Legislation of the Polish Association of Construction Employers (PZPB).

Author of over 90 publications on civil and commercial law and arbitration, including System Prawa Prywatnego, Prawo zobowiązań [Private Law System, Contract Law], vol. 5, 6 and 7 (2006–2020 editions); Kodeks cywilny.
