Dr Rafał Morek

Attorney-at-law, Partner at DWF Poland

Dr Rafał Morek, advocate, is a partner at DWF Poland. His construction practice is focused on advising on international and domestic infrastructure projects and disputes. He has acted for contractors, employers, designers and consultants on many different projects. He has extensive experience amending standard forms of contract to suit particular projects, negotiating contracts and advising with respect to their performance or termination. He is currently a member of the FIDIC Task Group 15 which is to propose the “FIDIC’ s Golden Principles” for the use of FIDIC Conditions of Contract and Agreements.

As an arbitrator or a counsel representing clients in arbitration, he took part in over 70 proceedings in accordance with the rules of ICC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne, PCC, SIDIR (the arbitration court specialized in construction disputes) Lewiatan and others. He is a certified mediator and a mediation trainer, and often also acts as a negotiator or a DAB member. He is a member of the arbitration council and the appointment committee at the largest Polish arbitration court (PCC), and a part-time professor at the University of Warsaw.

Wojciech Jarosiński

Attorney-at-law, Partner at Olesiński & Wspólnicy

Wojciech leads a team specialising in advising on new technologies and resolving disputes concerning the implementation of technology projects. He supports clients at the project implementation stage, as well as at the stage of litigation or arbitration.

His experience includes, in particular, advising at the litigation and pre-litigation stage in complex technology projects based on various technologies and involving multiple suppliers. In his professional work to date, he has advised, inter alia, in disputes relating to the three largest IT systems in Poland, disputes involving the largest Polish companies, in particular from the financial, energy and infrastructure sectors, and in technological international disputes.

He has represented clients in several hundred court and arbitration disputes with a total value exceeding several billion PLN, as well as in the negotiation of technology contracts with a total value exceeding several billion PLN.

In theRzeczpospolita’s ranking, Wojciech Jarosińskihas been named the top litigation lawyerin Poland four times (2018-2021). His team has won the title of a leader in the field of litigation twice. Wojciech was also featured in the Who’s Who of Foreign Attorneys section of the American National Jurist magazine (Fall 2019 issue).

Józef Pordes

Attorney-at-law, Senior Associate at Olesiński & Wspólnicy

Józef specialises in resolving technology project disputes. He advises at the pre-court stage, as well as represents clients in court and arbitration proceedings. He also drafts and negotiates IT systems contracts, particularly implementation and development agreements involving projects in agile methodologies.

He has many years of experience in supporting IT and new technology entrepreneurs. In his practice, he has prepared and negotiated many settlements ending disputes arising from IT projects. He has also participated in arbitration proceedings with the participation of domestic and foreign entities, pending before the arbitration courts at the National Chamber of Commerce and the Confederation of Leviathan.

Oksana Kotsovska

Senior Legal Counsel in N-iX Group: a global provider of software development outsourcing services with delivery centers across Europe.

Former associate in Arzinger Law Office: one of the biggest Ukrainian law firms providing a wide range of legal services in all major practices and industries. In particular, I had experience working in IP and Dispute Resolution practices.

PhD in Law, anf former associate professor in UCU (Ukrainian Catholic University). I also worked at the Law Faculty of National Ivan Franko University in Lviv.
